WHAT WE DO
ADVENTURE TRAINING
People can only excel when they are pushed outside of their comfort zones… Adventure training is perfect for that.
With an impressive range of AT activities available, Cadets will always find something that they enjoy doing again and again.
Our Basic Expedition Leaders will take you out on the hills, putting into practice your basic navigation theory training received on Squadron. The Squadron regularly conducts day walks within the local area, as well as Lincolnshire, the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District.
Yes we’re the Air Cadets, but we also do stuff on the water too! Water Sports has become a top activity on camps, with anything from sailing, rowing, raft building and windsurfing available. With the obvious jetty jumps included too!
The D of E award scheme is a nationally recognised award that gets young people out and about in the community. With volunteering, physical, skill and expedition elements all needing to be completed. Achieve the Gold award and you’ll earn yourself a trip to the palace.
With a vast range of AT activities out there, Cadets will get the chance to experience them all. High ropes courses, mountain biking, climbing, abseiling and caving are to name a few.
